Submitting Your Buylist

• You will need to create an account in order to submit your buylist. Please be aware that you must be in "Buylist Mode" to sell cards to us.
• Find products on our buylist using the search bar, buylist builder, advanced search, or "Browse By Category". Adjust the quantity and click the "Sell" button to add them to your buylist cart.
• When you have finished filling your cart, follow the prompts to confirm the products and select your payment method. You will receive an email once you have successfully submitted the buylist.

Sending Your Buylist

• Wait for the approval email to arrive. After you submit your buylist, we have to double-check that we want to buy everything at the posted prices. Usually this takes less than one (1) business day, but please read this email carefully when it arrives because sometimes we do make changes. If you do not receive a confirmation email within two (2) business days, please contact us at support@cardshoplive.com so we can manually confirm the status of your buylist.
• Make sure that your cards are sorted in the exact order that they appear on your confirmation email. If your cards arrive out of order, please expect an additional delay of up to five (5) business days before completion of your buylist. Please note that in extreme cases such as buylists of several hundred cards that arrive in no order at all, we reserve the right to either return the entire order or else assess a penalty of up to 10% of the final value of your buylist. We will contact you before processing your buylist if we intend to return it or assess a penalty.
• We are not responsible for damaged or lost packages. While we do not require it, we recommend that you purchase tracking and insurance for your package. Occasionally, packages are lost or damaged in transit so in order to protect yourself and your package we encourage you to spend the extra couple dollars on both tracking and insurance.
• Although we understand that sometimes there are delays in sending cards to us, we ask that all buylists sent to us are received at our facility within ten (10) days of their acceptance. After that time, any prices we have offered are subject to change due to the constantly changing nature of card prices. Your buylist will remain active in our system for two (2) weeks after which time acceptance is not guaranteed.
• Remember to package your cards securely. We do not want your cards to be damaged during shipment and neither should you, so please take the time to make sure your cards are well packed and protected. Do not put cards in plastic zip lock bags or wrap them with rubber bands, as these will more than likely result in damage. We highly recommend packaging your cards in plastic card cases or boxes designed specifically to hold trading cards. Bubble mailers work well too, but please remember to secure the cards so that they do not become loose during transit. We also ask that you please not sleeve any cards listed at or below $15.00 in value. For cards above this value, sleeves are permitted but remember that we have to de-sleeve each card in order to grade it so removing your cards from sleeves will save us time and allow us to pay you faster!
• All buylist submissions must be mailed directly to our processing facility. Please address all buylists to:

Condition Info

• All prices shown are for Near Mint cards, unless otherwise specified. Prices will be reduced if the cards we receive are graded below that. If you would like to be notified of any and all grading adjustments before we finalize and pay you for your submission, please write "HOLD ORDER" in the Order Comments section during checkout.
• We do not accept signed or stamped cards. Any items sent to us with those markings will be graded as Moderately Played at best and will be priced accordingly.
• We buy most cards graded below Near Mint at the following rates:

Magic

Lightly Played: 85%

Moderately Played: 65%

Heavily Played: 45%

Pokemon

Lightly Played: 75%

Moderately Played: 50%

Heavily Played: 25%

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I don't see this card on your buylist. Do you buy it?

 

If you don't see an item on our buylist we are likely not purchasing it at this time. However, you are welcome to reach out to see if we are interested in adding it to the buylist.

2. How can I get an offer on my collection?

If you aren't interested in creating an itemized buylist submission, we recommend utilizing our Magic or Pokemon You Box, We Buy programs for large collections.

3. I made a mistake on my buylist, do I need to resubmit it?
 
We know that mistakes can happen so you don't need to resubmit the entire buylist. Here are some examples:

• Adding Cards: create another buylist with the additional card(s) in it and ship the buylists together
• Item Errors: we will correct discrepancies during processing, but you are welcome to bring them to our attention in advance
• Changing Payment Method: send an email and we can adjust this

4. Do you buy sealed products or complete sets?
 
We don't typically have these on our buylist, but you are welcome to email us and inquire about selling specific items.
 
5. How long do I have to send you the cards?
 
Buylist submissions give us an idea of inventory that will be arriving, so packages must be received at our facility within ten (10) days of their acceptance. Packages received after 10 days may have their purchase prices updated on receipt.
 
6. How long does the grading process take?
 
The grading process will fluctuate depending upon how busy we are and how many orders we have at the time. After your order arrives in our facility, we will verify its contents and update the status as received within 1 business day. Once the order is marked as received, it will be graded and finalized in 1-2 business days.
 
7. Do you contact me with the grading results before finalizing my order?
 
In the absence of a "HOLD ORDER" comment, we will only reach out before issuing payment if there are significant changes made to your buylist.
 
8. Can I change my mind and get my cards back after my order is finalized?
 
Once we’ve finalized an order and have submitted payment, we are unable to offer a return. The only way we can provide a return of your cards is if you have left a comment requesting to be contacted with the results before finalization.
